Got an email this morning stating they sent me a letter in the mail about requesting further evidence. Im pretty sure I know what it is, it maybe about my job. I was working when i filled out all of the paperwork, but did not change any of it when i went on maternity leave, and when i sent in all of the paperwork i was on maternity leave. I am not on maternity leave any longer, decided to be a stay at home mom and work freelance building websites. Personal money, no company. But i do have a co-sponsor my mom, and she makes $75,000 a year, so im covered good there. Will it be a problem that i no longer work AFTER fileing the paperwork with a current job on it?

I don't see how it can be a problem if that is definitely what the RFE concerns. I would think that once you submit updated paperwork, you are good to go. Wishing you the best!!! Glad to see you survived last night! *hugs*

I've never heard of an RFE about someone's job history, but then again, I don't read all the posts here.

Anyway, hope you can get the RFE resolved and turned around quickly.

I woud consider an RFE to be encouraging-once you give them what they want............you will get what you want

Hope you get the letter soon

I agree. Its more likely to be something missing.....a question not answered.....further proof of having met etc etc. Whatever it is Ionescu, you will know soon enough and can submit what they are request. At least you know they are working on your petition. From many posts here after an RFE and submission of the request information, its not unusual to see an approval within 2-3 weeks. All the best to you.

yea, i kinda had a brain fart on this one and then realised i did not send in the intent letter on my fiances part. i still had it in my folder for all of our stuff. So i imagine thats what it is. Everything else was answered with answers or with none/NA. So I have the letter of intent ready, just waiting for the RFE now.

yea i survived lastnight with a book and a cup of coffee until i fell asleep. :)
