NVC had my wives address a bit out of order, I sent a email with an updated address to NVC prior to them closing the case, but never got a confirmation of the email.

I have no idea if Guangzhou has the fixed address (it was out of order in english and a bit in chinese)

I did have correct address on the supplement form though, but I was wondering if I use this form

http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/immigrant-visa-unit-question.html

to inquire about it? I filled all of the info out and sent the request via the internet form on wednesday last week, but never got a response or reply, they say 3 business days though.

or I can get an direct email address to have Guangzhou double check or update so they send the interview notice to the correct address?

I bet my documents are probably still in transit or have yet to reach the consulate right now though.

If you got the right address onto the GUZ IV P3 Supplemental form,

then yer done,

as

this form is the 'do-all, be-all, final final intake' on her actual address.

Assume for the moment that all is sh|te, though, yes?

Keep calling DoS Hotline, inquiring for casefile status -

and WHEN!!!!!!!!!!! you know the interview date - 2 weeks after you know - yer wife SHOULD HAVE the appointment letter - if'n the address was golden on the GUZ IV P3 supplemental form.

She not receive anything? Still an address problem - you will need to email out once a day via the Web Portal email thingie at GUZ IV website, asking for an eyeball review from a US Consul or Vice Consul - until you hear back that they've successfully changed it.

Malformed addresses suck, much. EP solves much of this silliness, but you chose not to use it.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Guangzhou received my case!!! :) sent October 26th and received November 3rd No interview date yet scheduled per Hotline, but they have also confirmed to me that Guangzhou consulate has my case packet already.

I guess I will just call once a week to see if the interview is scheduled yet

I checked the Supplement Sheet and it did have her correct Chinese Address that was sent out. the tracking of the packet was 1 pound, the 2nd front load was about 3 pounds with DS-230, but hope most of my loading was received by Guangzhou yesterday.

I will re-load everything again for the interview divided into thin slip folders. Maybe she can get an interview in around January hopefully.

DoS Hotline say GUZ IV received it, or are you doing that wonky 'DHL tracking' thingie?

IF DoS Hotline - then the next timeticks DoS can tell you (in order)

--IV CasefFile Opened

--Appointment Date Set

--Interview Letter Sent (Packet 4)

Good Luck !

Just to beat a dead horse more, I changed the address at least 20 times everywhere I could email, phone, certified letter, etc with address request verification even at the POE repeatedly wife asked address is correct.

Evey answer I got said yes address changed. Green card never received at new address sent to old. Delayed us several months then they wanted us to pay lost greencard replacement fees because we were lying and lost card cause thats what everyone does.

My I-90 was thick with documented proof of my effort and named confirmations from clerks, operators to customs entry officer and then they sent GC unceremoniously finally for no cost.

Moral of the story: persistence, patience, documentation, names dates, times replies etc. CYA I don't trust inter-agency communications as far as I can throw a $600 toilet seat

I hope it has changed in a couple years
