And, as I guess it was another thread, I commented,... if you're just lookin here at visajourney, I'm sure there are thousands who apply who never find this site. This might be a good 'sample' of the population, but hardly the total base.

Not much you can do about it at this point. You won't be outside of normal processing guidelines until March, 2012 and in the next few months you'll see periods of time where approvals come flying out of VSC and others (especially during the upcoming holidays) where you might not see any action for a week at a time.

Just try to be patient and use this time to gather what you'll need for the next phase of the journey.

Then, I guess you aren't or haven't read too much here on VJ, where there are reports coming in about June Filers (4 months or less) are and have been coming in. Even I think today, a July filer was approved.

And, if you've read a lil more here, you'd likely know that the uscis website is not well-kept on a timely basis.

Excellent point, GringoD. Anxious waiters that we all all, we have to remember that what appears on Igor's List is not a perfect cross section.

what makes me think that is if u go to the USCIS site, they are processing cases from March only. The goal is supposed to be 5 months...

Everything on the USCIS site should be taken with a grain of salt, I think. The way I choose to interpret what you're seeing there is that March is the earliest petition that they are currently processing. Just a semi-educated guess.

All that being said, it's discouraging to be on the 99th day, and look and see people being approved after 171 days (as an example). I find that tracking Igor's list too closely does tend to give the impression that they've ground to a halt no matter how well they're actually doing, LOL. Missing and waiting can really eat into one's head after a few months, and the best solution is to crack open a cold drink, pop in a good movie, and relax. Easier said than done, no? Imagine how much tougher the wait would be if we didn't have the VJ community.

Cheers and good luck to all.

No VSC has def. begun to slow down, where as CSC is starting to pick up. VSC is still ahead of of CSC in terms of June and July filings (look at graphs)

But I feel like that trend will slowly change as CSC is approving more per day than VSC (from Igor's stats)
