Hi folks, I'm curious here if anyone's case gets any updates or touches anytime in the process before approval? with AOS you could always see the case gets touched but noticed I-751 never does.

I think it really varies. I've been browsing old filer threads and it seems some people get no touches at all and then get an approval. I remember during my husband's AOS, our I-130 stayed in initial review the entire time, even after approval. I know it's annoying since we all want some type of notice that USCIS hasn't forgotten about us, but I don't think it means your case is frozen or anything.

It is what it is. They are not required to update the online case check database or anything. Its a privilege they give to us not a right.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I know it is not required. I was under the impression that once they work on your case they have to scan it and that's why you see the update. So I was assuming they are not working on my case since I didn't see any touches. But I think it might be different with the I-751.

It's also possible that they're not working on your case right now. There seems to be a big gap between when biometrics are completed and any kind of update/decision from either CSC or VSC at the moment for the majority of people on VJ.

I don't think they really update it unless they feel like doing it, just like most of the USCIS procedure/ppl anyway, they do whatever they feel like.

All I got for mine is still received and initial review, yet I've got my NOA1, RFE, Relocation to local service center, and the site still says initial review and dated 5 months ago.

It's just a physiological war they play against everybody, no updates and see whom cracks first.

Just wait and prepare for the worst, because you never know what they feel like the day they decided to do something.

ROC cases have TWO numbers. 1 the receipt number they use and 2 the tracking number we use. They do not have to scan the tracking number.
