changing last name to married name!

hi everyone! (please do move me to a forum related to changing names-dunno where to go). i just changed my maiden to my husbands last name - dmv and ssn. i havent changed it at work. is it ok not to change my nursing license in california and just use my maiden name as it is.? i still have to renew my license this month. i just want to use my maiden name professionally. any experiences guys or know somebody related to this topic? thanks all.

It could pose a problem in the future,, as Nursing positions and licensing require background checks, And if you professional name does

not match your other official documents. It could cause some unintended consequences.

You might want to run this question by your State Board of Nursing.
