Hi All-

I'm gathering all my documents and evidence to send with my I-129F and was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to put everything together or keep it separate and organized? Staples? Paper Clips? Post-It Notes?

Thanks!!

Really doesn't matter how you package the petition - it get's torn apart at USCIS and placed into their folders.

Most folks use a large clip or 2 hole punch the top of the page and use Acca fastners. It's recommended not to use staples.

Just don't forget the check.

Doesn't matter. I made a cover letter, put all the documents in the order of the cover letter, and placed it in a plastic folder. That wasn't even necessary, I should have just used a paper clip to hold it all together. It all gets reorganized anyway.

I used paper clips and those big clips don't know name of. Paper clip your check to front of cover letter. Put pics in those clear sleeves that looks like photoalbum sleeves you can buy at staples. Just don't use staples

make sure it all gets in the envelope. Paper clips are good to keep it organized while you handle it, beyond that USCIS will do what they will with it.

Actually, USCIS uses staples, they do not like it when YOU use staples because they have to disassemble it when it arrives and that is a pain. They organize it, stamp the edges of the papers and staple it in the order they want, then put it in the pockets of their folders.
