My wife and I wanted to know how soon can we get our visa + passport right after the interview? The interview will be on November 9, 2011 at 6:30am and my wife plan to be there as early as 3:30 AM. Thank you so much in advance for your prompt attention regarding this question. Have a good day or night!!! :thumbs: :thumbs:

09/06/07: Went to the Philippines to marry my fiancee.

11/29/07: Wedding Day!

11/30/10: Going back to US, to get my wife!

05-06/11: Sent & Received Congressman's letter & advice.

06/23/11: Found and joined... VisaJourney.com!

06/27/11: Filing “Form I-130 IR-1” and Expediting it with Humanitarian cover letter.

07/08/11: Mailed I-130 to P.O. Box 804525, Attn. EXPEDITE I-130 SPOUSE, Chicago, IL.

07/18/11: Received Hardcopy Form I-797C or NOA1 in mail, receipt date 7/13/11 and priority date 7/12/11.

08/08/11: Called USCIS 800 number to check on status.

08/23/11: Request for Expedite Approved. Received NOA2 dated 08/23/11.

09/09/11: Called NVC they got my file from USCIS.

09/13/11: Received NVC Case# & IIN# (via email) & emailed DS-3032 from PI to NVC.

09/14/11: AOS Fee Paid Online (status PAID on 9/15 also at this time IV Fee Bill Generated)

09/16/11: IV Fee Bill Paid Online (status PAID on 9/19 and printed Barcoded Coversheets)

09/20/11: Express mail both the I-864s AOS and IV DS-230 (arrived 9/21 NVC)

09/27/11: Case completed file shipped to USEManila; arrived 10/3

10/13/11: Medical passed/completed today but still NO interview date yet?

10/16/11: Called USEManila file ready! Called Appt. Services set up Interview Date for 11/9/11.

11/09/11: Interview. But had to comply with 221g, re-verification forms CENOMAR/NBI.

12/02/11: Visa approved but delivered 12/7/11.

12/12/11: POE – Detroit.

you don't get it right away, that's for sure. but you can request right after being approved if you want it sent "rush" which is 3 days compared to a week or two =)

03-14-2008 NOA 2

04-07-2008 Medical exam passed

04-25-2008 Interview, visa aproved, no RFEs!

04-25-2008 Waiting for DELBROS/NSO

05-07-2008 Visa on hand ! Wow, less than 3 months! Thank you Lord!

05-26-2008 POE Detroit, no problems, thank God!

07-01-2008 Married 07-01-08, civil, just us w/ his parents

01-08-2009 AOS Approved! thank you Lord! no interview required!

01-16-2009 Received GC in mail

09-02-2010 Sent out application for ROC

09-08-2010 Received NOA1

09-10-2010 Received Biometrics Notice

10-06-2010 Biometrics

12-06-2010 Approved! Thank you Lord God!

12-11-2010 Received NOA2 and 10-yr GC in the mail =)

12-02-2011 Civics Test/Interview (passed)

there's really no time specific when will the visa be released. it really depends with the embassy. but if there's no problem the waiting time would be 3-10 days. some waited for a week or two, others a month , while others who were under AP, they waited for months.just email the embassy maybe around after 2-3 days so you will have an update on the status of the visa.

There is no such thing"rush"u have to wait until it will arrive to your house,no body can say specific time of ur visa arrival,if it doesn't arrive in about 3 to 10 days call embassy and 2go.good luck....

Ohh by the way if your appointment is 6:30am mke sure u arrive one hour early..

:wow: 3:30 in the morning is kind of early for a 6:30 appointment. I hope she doesn't fall asleep during her interview! :jest:

Thank you all so much for your input! And of course not taj :bonk: - she won't fall asleep... it is a common site to see applicants flock as early as 3AM at the USEM :wacko: but my wife wanted to get the number one spot for her batch and be outta there before 9AM. Hopefully, the Consul can accommodate her for an early/rush - Visa/Passport delivery! :innocent::thumbs:
