As a lot of people have been PMing me about the arrests, I'll give an overview of that part. This is taken from one of my conversations earlier. Also I put up a short blog post on the days activitie

K1 Process:

  • I-192F: NoA 1 received - March 15, 2011
  • I-192F: NoA 2 received - July 6 - Approved in 113 Days!
  • Packet 3 received - August 1-ish
  • Medical - August 19
  • Packet 3 completed and returned - August 24
  • Packet 3 logged at Embassy - September 21
  • Interview: Oct 26, 2011 - Approved!
  • PoE: Atlanta - November 08
  • Civil Ceremony - December 29

Time : 7 months, 8 days

Adjustment of Status Process:

  • Filing AoS - February 17, 2012
  • NoA 1 received - February 23
  • Case transferred to CSC - March 20
  • Biometrics appointment - March 26
  • Wedding - April 6th
  • RFE October 15th, have until January to send in information.
  • Sent back information - December 5th
  • APPROVED! - December 22nd!

Time : 10 months, 6 days

Total Duration of journey : 1 year, 9 months, 8 days.

02/28/2011 ----- RFE, Waiver to file 2nd K-1 petition

03/04/2011 ----- RFE reply sent

03/08/2011 ----- RFE received and being reviewed at USCIS

03/17/2011 ----- NOA2 (I-129F approved)

03/23/2011 ----- NOA2 hard copy received

03/29/2011 ----- NVC received our Case

04/04/2011 ----- NVC letter received and case forwarded to US embassy Manila

04/08/2011 ----- US Embassy Manila received our case (Consulate)

04/15/2011 ----- Paid VISA at BPI

04/16/2011 ----- Received Eligibility Letter from US Embassy Manila dated April 8, 2011

04/25/2011 ----- 1st day of Medical

04/26/2011 ----- 2nd day of Medical (I PASSED!! Thank you Lord!!)

05/13/2011 ----- Interview (221g - Case under Administrative Processing "AP")

08/12/2011 ----- Received an email from the embassy "Case is pending review by a consular officer"

Today has been a long, tiresome, anxious, stress filled and eventually a wonderful and teary day.

After a light grilling at the interview over my arrests, the CO was happy that I am a good person and APPROVED my visa!

I got home to be greeted by an uncle and aunt who took me out to dinner for a nice celebratory evening ^_^

My uncle also presented me with my grandmothers wedding ring. She had told him before she passed away that I was to have it when the time was right and I had a real man and a real future :cry:

My flight home to Justin is booked for the 8th of November.

I can't wait to see him again :wub:

I haven't slept in almost 36 hours, so I am going to sleep soon. Tomorrow I will put up a post on my blog for other VJers to see what to expect at the LONDON Embassy~

As a lot of people have been PMing me about the arrests, I'll give an overview of that part. This is taken from one of my conversations earlier.

As I never attended court and my arrests only resulted on cautions, it wasn't necessary for me to provide documentation. I only gave them the dates and name of offense's, when asked I gave detailed information on what had occurred to gain me an arrest record (graffiti on a wall ... twice).

She made sure to remind me she was within her rights to check, of which I replied that it was perfectly fine, since I'd spoken to ACPO to gain definitive dates already and I had disclosed everything.

She seemed fine with it and approved me :)

Also I put up a short blog post on the days activities like I said I would ^_^

K1 Process:

  • I-192F: NoA 1 received - March 15, 2011

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
