Need help understanding "don't open" visa delivery instructions

I did not attend the PRISM because I did not read the papers outside. Then when I was son NAIA, they were looking for it and asked me to go to someone. So I went and the guy told me I should have gotten my sticker on the seminar or whatever you call it. But in the end, he had to put the sticker on my passport since if he didn't the US immigration officers will question them. I guess it's a different procedure now.

Currently, fiancées and spouses are required to attend the CFO seminar. Once they have completed the CFO seminar and have received their visa from the Embassy, they need to have the CFO sticker in their passport, or else they will not be allowed to board their flight to the U.S.

Did you come to the U.S. on a fiancé visa or on a spousal visa?

Nope. IR2. Maybe it's a different procedure after all.

I was not the only who missed it, anyway. I was with an old lady, too who failed to read the papers.

But the immigration officer told me that everyone immigrating to the US needed to attend that seminar, and it is PRISM sticker as what is on my passport

The government of the USA is training you to become a citizen.

Citizens must do precisely as they are told, without asking questions of their masters. They must memorize and obey, not think and act as if they had rights. It is good for the citizens to be in a state of constant anxiety and fear - to struggle over every single word of their master's instructions: to mortally fear getting one precious syllable of the master wrong.

When you have achieved the level of blind obedience and absolute fealty to the state, then you can be trusted to pull the lever on the gas chamber as your fellow citizens are herded into Zyklon-B showers. Your only concern will be for following your instructions to the letter. The biggest lesson my wife has learned about the USA is that freedom is a myth.

any news? she got a recently sharpened box cutter? Them is great for making the one slit above the passport, pull out the stuff. [letter of instructions and the passport]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

@Darnell: Not yet. Thank you for your interest and for the suggestion. Inday decided to put whole package away in safe place for now and focus on attending to her many, many affairs at home and work in preparation for the imminent move. I did ask her if she would feel comfortable if I wrote to US embassy requesting an unambiguous instruction/explanation and she agreed to this. I emailed embassy to make a polite inquiry and did get a clear response (and surprisingly quickly) which I will forward to Inday. -RK
