Proof of ongoing relationship (interview)

Were any of you Montreal interviewees asked for proof of ongoing relationship?

From what I've read in the consulate reviews, it seems like they likely won't ask for anything. I'm planning on bringing some boarding passes and photos from our summer visit, but I'm wondering if many of you were not even asked to show anything. Just trying to reassure myself that I don't need to stress over printing out emails and stuff.

While they may not ask for it, to be on the safe side I would recommend to print it out and bring it in. You don't want to get denied or delay your visa, just because you didn't feel like bringing it. Bring as much as you can, better be safe then sorry.

Bring it just in case. It's better to stress over printing than over not having evidence they may ask from you. :)

Nope, I wasn't asked for any proof of relationship. Even so, I had brought evidence with me for that "just in case" moment. You'll stress more if you don't print, than if you do. Just print out an email or two, bring your boarding passes, and photos. That's enough for Canada.

I brought some (not very much at all, just phone records, chat records, and a boarding pass or two) but was never asked for any of it.

Same here. I felt better for knowing I had it, though... although I also had my fiance with me at the consulate, which helped ease my mind on that particular topic.

Montreal did not ask for it from me either. I'd suggest printing out just a couple e-mails since photos and boarding passes are much better evidence than e-mails anyways. That way you'll have it just in case and ease your mind but you won't go crazy with the printer ink. It is more important to be familiar with your husband (lol), get ready to answers lots of questions about who, when, where, and how. I imagine they don't ask for evidence of a relationship unless they're doubting its authenticity, so if you seem genuine and answer there questions correctly you should be fine. :)

Canadians tend not to be asked because it's so easy for us to travel and visit our US fiancé(e) but hey, have some ready. The boarding passes and photos sound perfect. I brought a boat load of evidence and wasn;t asked for a single thing.

Better to be safe then sorry

I have several pounds of paperwork that I bet they won't even ask for, including a folder containing emails, pictures, boarding passes, and several months of itemized phone calls courtesy of ma Bell. I can't WAIT for my interview to be done with so that I can trash it all and not have to lug it back home!! Also, the copies of copies? Lol, only want to keep one of everything!
