Filipina is easy to love. i think compare to other asian countries, us filipinas are loving, caring, understanding, patient, understand and can communicate even in our carabao english, among other good traits that a foreign guy is looking for a wife.

also,we filipinas easily fall inlove to someone who shows us love, care, respect, etc.

i believe although i dont have statistics, most of the marriages of filipinas to foreign nationals dont end up into divorce. most of the filipinas value "family" because of our religious, moral background..

if your 21 y/o gf's intention is just for the opportunity to be in the US yet you love her despite this. love her with all your heart and i believe in time, that love will be return. if not, at least you gave your love and took the risk. than letting her go and won't find out. you might be missing a true love.

im being optimistic. :)

guys,

The OP,came here to ask only one question,if the age difference is BIG factor,Stop judging his business, relationship doesnt need to be perfect its just need to be true, and who cares if he is 60 and his gf is 21?OP you just need to have a lot proof of bonafide relationship with your girl, know her well, talk to her often, and know her views in life, when love is REAL,then no need to worries,i have seen plenty of people at the embassy during my interview..a lot older and a lot younger and been approved.

my husband is 54 and i am 29 we never thought that age difference is a big factor and the only reason why i came here in us is just to be with him,i take good care of him and he never manipulate my life.nad he never purchase me like other people say here.because i am not material thing.i volunteer myself and marry him from my heart..

Quite frankly, I dont think its proper for a 60yr man and a 21 yr to be together. I dont buy the love connection myth of couples with such age gaps.. sorry, either she's completely naive or you purposely are seeking a girl who is 3x younger than you, and resorting to foreigner to fufill your wishes..

I thi

Here is a shocker , its 21 years difference between me and my wife and i adore her and we have a boy together and will have more soon , but am not a naive neither she is seeking a younger man , she is a very respectful polite lovely wise woman and thats why i married her....watch your words...not everyone thinks your way.

Beautiful patience.

Irrespective of what I think, it's what the examiners will look at. You have to put yourself in the shoes of the interviewer and look at the totality of the case. If it makes sense and he can prove the relationship is legit, he will get approved. But it will raise more flags than usual K1 petition..

Like I said, there is nothing wrong for people here to give their opinion and most of these opinions are most likely also the opinion of the CO! But she has to be the one to proof them wrong. She will be questioned like crazy. She'll have a NO, but she can fight for a YES!! I always wish people the best, and I also wish her the best...

Ignorance is a great thing isn't it?

First you claim to know well-known facts which are in reality nothing more than ugly stereotypes.

Then you close by stating an assumption that the CO in Manila will be thinking just like you and deny the Visa which is so wrong because in Manila age is not a major factor...

When I found, met & married my young Pinay Wife (15 years my junior and only 7 years my oldest daughter's senior) her age had nothing to do with it. She was 23 & I was 38 but we meshed as people and today everyone who knows us or even just meets us of more than a few minutes comments about how great a couple we are because we simply connect on a whole other level than so many couples do. My first wife was only 2 years my junior but we were both too young and stupid, that marriage should have never happened.

At any age I don't think I could seriously date someone 1/3 my own age (wouldn't even be legal for another 13 years ha ha ha) but there was a time when I said I couldn't imagine myself with a woman who is more than 5 years younger than I am. Some people are more mature at 18 than others at 81, it's just a fact. My Anna is mature beyond her 26 years and sometimes I'm not even mature to her age let alone mine (ha ha ha).

Anyone making judgments of another's relationship without seeing the totality of that relationship i being ignorant & judgmental. This statement isn't in defense of the OP,who I believe is a stupid sock-puppet troll baiting others because they want to watch the ignorant Pinay bashing...

As long as they can prove that the relationship is real then they will make it. There's this murdered 21 yr old by a 73yr old husband, they made it. Why she's murdered, we don't know. We can't assume it's because of the age again.

It's just after you get approved what now? Looks like you are going to deal with the stigma and prejudice for the rest of your married life.

Happy New Year!

I don't want to be offensive but in all honesty the comment below to me is both, racist/jingoistic and corny/rosy-naive at the same time. A lot of different nationals have the ability to love and have family values and the like. So, you think that compared to "other Asian countries" people from the Philippines are better/more trustworthy? What kind of logic is behind this? What kind of warped mind?

I am German, and I consider myself caring, understanding, patient and all those positive things. Maybe that's just in my imagination. Who knows....

I am too old to believe that "love her/him with all your heart" will solve all problems, especially if people differ considerably in one way or another (age, etc.).

Filipina is easy to love. i think compare to other asian countries, us filipinas are loving, caring, understanding, patient, understand and can communicate even in our carabao english, among other good traits that a foreign guy is looking for a wife.

Notice no response from the OP?

yes, it was happened to his previous thread with same question. The different is, on this thread he added little bit info about age gap between them.whistling.gif. Oh btw, all the threads became one of popular threads for the past 3 days. Wonder why people love to read about different age for relationship.

While I do think the OP is trolling, and I'm aware of the Philippines culture ( remember, not an expert, just aware ) I don't get what is the deal with the recent resentment towards older men with younger wife/ fiancee on here? A couple of months ago no one had the nut sack to call out an obviously fraudulent relationship, now you are all just looking for an older man to jump on?it isn't our place to judge,we are here to give advice. OP will be grilled at the embassy, when he moves his fiancee to the states, and even worse for AOS,but that doesn't concern us. P eople seem to forget that ,the young poor innocent girl who dreams of coming to the states and supporting her family is the one who agreed to marry this old guy.

Jesus, you don't have to repeat a line from talladega nights ( the will Ferrell movie ) to make a point. Remember how his youngest son said " Jesus gran ma you look so old, are you gonna die today?", that's what you guys are doing
