Hi everyone! To those who are still waiting for their NOA2s and MNL#s hang in there, they surely would get to you :)

I will be flying with my fiance to US next week, and I just wonder what is the process at the POE (in our case, it is Detroit). To those who flew with their fiances did you go together through immigration or will they be interviewing you together? Thank you.

We were allowed to go thru together, no interview just paperwork processing.

We went thru LAX.

You can go through the line together, there is usually no interview and it is quite uneventful. They looked at Alla's papers, her passport...stamp, stamp, stamp "Be sure to get married within 90 days" Bye. Took about 1 minute. Maybe less

Read the POE reviews here at this site. We had FAR MORE trouble with the immigration for her dog and cat than for my wife and sons.

LAX big crowd, slow, 3 hours, no hassles. If you have a connecting domestic flight leave 4/5 hours. You will need to take airport bus to the domestic terminal. LE guys at waiting area stated generally 3 hours, they were right. Good Luck. Nice flower stand there with Chinese lady.

I've never been lucky to arrive at LAX and it not be busy. Other VJ'ers have mentioned that Detroit is not a busy POE.
