K1 visa Interview

Hi guys! i'm new here and i think this is a VERY helpful website!!! why i didn't know about this website until today!!

Anyway! my question is as follows:

after 8 long months waiting to finally get to this point, an interview, my fiancee wants me to assist with him to the interview but i don't know if i'm allowed to enter with him without an appointment letter. Is it possible for me to go that day with him? and also, how helpful is my presence in the interview?

BTW, the interview is NOvember 2!! i'm nervous!!!!! :unsure:

You can go, may no let you in, but interview is on him. Know your facts, be organized, look at other threads regarding k1 interview at your embassy. If you have everything it will be OK. I remember my wife called and asked me to guess what happened.

Hey! You sure will be able to go to the interview without an interview letter. Just be prepared for a long wait at the embassy too and it might get cold, so you might want to wear something that keeps you warm and cozy. They might want to interview you too, they wuill ask information about the relationship, his family, your family, your work and his, etc. So it will help if you are prepared in these topics. It is not 100% sure that they will grant your visa just because you show up with him for the interview but it shows that your relationship is solid and that you are there for support too. Be sure to take all the paperwork required and pictures of you in different satges in your relationship. Good luck!
