There,

fixed it for you.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Read the VJ Guides: they are good!

If you submit tax transcripts, you have fulfilled the requirements already. The modus operandum here is the word "or."

If you walk through New York's Central Park at night and a mugger stops you and says" "you me your wallet or I'll shoot you!" then he wants your wallet. If you give him your wallet, he doesn't need to shoot you as he then got what he wanted.

Same with naturalization. If you submit tax transcripts then you gave the I.O. what he wants. Again, read the VJ Guides and pay attention to the word "or."

• Selective Service Registration

• W-2 Forms

• Joint IRS Tax Transcripts for 2008,2009,and 2010

If your crystal ball tells you that you will get an IO that realizes you already been grilled for the AOS and ROC stages, won't even want to look at your evidence, you will be fine. But may also tell you that you may get an IO that will treat your like your very first visit to the USCIS and will want to see everything. Do you have a good crystal ball?

In either case, won't be rejected, just get an RFE that can add weeks, months, or even years to your application, longest I have heard of was 15 months and wanted to see this person in person requiring very expensive travel and staying in a way overpriced Chicago downtown hotel. Other wanted the spouse present.

Can only define this as a risk, your choice as to whether you want to take it or not. With our problems with the ROC wanted to end this ASAP, but could have waited another two years, don't need any of this evidence. We elected to get it over with.

Have your wifes' parents write a To Whom it May Concern letter and have it notarized to the effect their daughter, (name), and son-in-law, (name) are living with them and paying them rent.

You can stop by the local branch of your bank and ask for prior history. I am pretty sure they should be able to produce that for you. If you do only online banking, calling the customer support and asking about it might help as well. Good luck!

I would attach a lease or mortgage too. I assembled everything over the past few weeks and put all of this in my package:

1) Cover letter explaining that I don't remember exact travel dates and moving dates, but it is no more than 7 days off (we are military, so LOTS of moving);

2) signed application

3) my birth certificate, DH's birth certificate, copies of permanent resident card and both our military IDs, tax transcript from the past 3 yeras;

4) son's and daughter's birth certificate;

5) copy of mortgage, car titles, joint car insurance and home owner's insurance, joint utility bills, sales tax receipt of new joint car, joint checking account receipt, joint Amex receipt

6) check to pay the whole thing.
