Here is what Cain's website says about abortion:

"Yesterday in an interview with Piers Morgan on CNN, I was asked questions about abortion policy and the role of the President.

I understood the thrust of the question to ask whether that I, as president, would simply "order" people to not seek an abortion.

My answer was focused on the role of the President. The President has no constitutional authority to order any such action by anyone. That was the point I was trying to convey.

As to my political policy view on abortion, I am 100% pro-life. End of story.

I will appoint judges that understand the original intent of the Constitution. Judges who are committed to originalism know that the Constitution contains no right to take the life of unborn children.

I will oppose government funding of abortion. I will veto any legislation that contains funds for Planned Parenthood. I will do everything that a President can do, consistent with his constitutional role, to advance the culture of life."

Seems pretty pro-life to me.

And yes, I do not research Republican political positions as deeply as I could, because basically every time I have read an article or an interview with a Republican candidate, they believe the opposite of everything I believe. So in the interest of being able to sleep at night, I try not to think about it too much. Although it seems to me that in general, if the idea of the 9-9-9 plan is to reduce corporate taxes and then corporations will pass these savings on to the consumer, thus alleviating the extra cost of the federal sales tax for the consumer, I think that is putting far too much trust in the corporations. Corporations are not, as a rule, altruistic.

Also, can I just say that I don't understand how defunding a service that provides free condoms and birth control options for young and poor women leads to less abortions?

I do not think that the Tea Party and OWS want the same things at all.

I am still a CAIN guy. I do not see abortion as an issue at all. Not even a consideration. None of that really matters unless we fix this "abortion" of a revenue system we have.

Seriously if I were running for Presdient and some guy asked me what I thought about abotion I would say "I don't"

Then again, that and the, um, "compromising" photos of me in the Cossack uniform are the reasons I am not President.

Alla refuses to discuss politics, hates politicians. I asked her to watch the debate with me, she WILL be voting next year. Nah....not yet. I guess she is going to sit it out for the finals.

Alla will not take a strong stand one way or the other over any politician except to say they are all corrupt pigs. Come to think of it that is pretty strong.

I did explain this fast and furious debacle to her and how it was an attempt by Obama to drum up support for taking away our guns

Alla has met with our former Governor, and Senators Leahy and Sanders. She worked with Leahy on some provisions of the Leahy-Menendez immigration bill which went nowhere. She exchnaged photos with Leahy as they are both amatuer photographers, but overall she is no more impressed than if he were any other person and they never discussed politics, per se.

I know I'm a little late to the discussion, but I align myself with the Tea Party as well and of the 3 Tea Party rallies I attended, in Charleston, WV, Parkersburg, WV, and Washington D.C., and I have not ran into any racism or any racist signs. I saw people from all walks of life there. At the D.C. rally, I actually spoke to a Russian man who said our country was falling towards the way of the USSR. I care deeply about the USA and believing in following the words and ideals of our founding fathers.
