Hi VJ's:

I just want ask few questions as I am now trying to almost finalize the arrangement of my documents for my upcoming interview on Tuesday. I am not sure if everyone do have a LOT of documents to bring with you. i felt like I already got way too much :( Anyways, did you guys brought with you duplicate copies of the following

1. ITR, W2's, payslip, employment contract

2. Screen shots of skype, emails,fb print outs, my fiance's phone records, itinerary, ...can I just bring 1 copy at the USEM?

I actually do have duplicate copies of this and what I am planning is just to bring one copies which the people at embassy can keep and just leave the duplicate of the above here at the house. Just so I wont be carrying a bunch of papers with me.

As to the originals like letters, and some other document, I brought the original and photo copy. just in case they ask, they can get the photocopy I already have.

And also, to those who were done with their interviews, may I get an idea of the way documents were asked in order? I mean like when we are about to enter the embassy, what was asked from the applicant first..what's next..so on and so forth.

Sorry for the many what...I just really wanna be sure I am prepared.

Thanks to everyone. All replies are highly appreciated.

1. add updated Letter of Intent to Marry (some are asked, some are not so better have one, the sign should be original too).

2. Police clearance from all places you lived with for at least 6mos from the age of 16.

This is all good info, I have also heard it's good to have a complete copy of the petition with you. Was wondering how many months bank statements people suggest? Is it just the first page that shows balance or the entire statement. How many pay stubs? Thanks, Jim.

Thanks for all the info it is very helpful. To save everyone some time I wanted to add that letter of intent does not need notarized but should be signed and dated. I think notarization was required in the past but not anymore, same as the 134, Jim.

Hi, when you say, categorizing in one level, should all the required documents in one clear folder but has level on it? Or in a different clear folder?
