I'm thankful I didn't fall in love with someone from Pakiiistan! jajaja

Kidding, ... WTW!

I agree with you!.... Lots of negativism on this site, as of recentemente.

Hell! Life is a gamble

And, lots of people who file for a visa do a REALLY SHITTY JOB.

So, ... little wonder, about so much depression and negativism.

I can't believe there are people here, writing posts about "Having Second Thoughts" and such.

Must be 'Merican... 'cause 'Mericans have become the softest, weakest bunch of hind-#######-sucking bunch of folks in the world.

Each time I come to this site lately there seems to be an overshadow of depression. Come on people shake it off! :)

Let's take a minute and think about the happiness for a while! I challenge each of you to list 10 things you are thankful for today!

I'll start!

#1- I am engaged and have long last found my soulmate!!!! :) Yay!

#2- My fiance is more handsome than your fiance!

#3- My fiance makes me smile through the tears and laugh across the miles between us!! He is my sunshine!

#4- I am healthy and I have a job!!!!

#5- My finace is healthy and is getting a job to help him pass his time!!!!

#6- The weather outside is gorgeous!!!

#7- Skype! OMG this deserves major exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#8- The consular section in Islamabad and particularly the CO who will do my fiance's interveiw! Without them this would not be possible!!!!!

#9- Everyone here on VJ who shares their knowledge and experiences for the Community's benefit!

#10- Chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!

Now you.....

1. Bahadir and I are stronger after all this time.

2. we have been taught patience, which i had very little of before

3. we are 19 days away from our interview!!!

4. we talk everyday whether on phone or on skype or both! He works 12 hours a day stays up till 2 am to talk with me.

5. we smile constantly now!

6. we have waited a year for our visa interview and its here!

7. We look forward to starting our family

8. I cant wait to see him walk towards me at airport

9. I DO have the most handsome man ever:)

10. We are set to get married on November 19th!

The process has been hard. Bahadir says all the time "we are having hard days now to have great days always". We waited 7 months and 1 day for our NOA2 and we got our interview on October 27th the day before our year anniversary of sending the petition out. SO be thankful if you get it sooner and realize it will come! You will get sad but you will forget that sadness as you near the end of this process!

I am not doing the K-1 visa process but this thread is too cute not to participate!

  1. I love him.
  2. He loves me.
  3. We are getting married.
  4. He is as excited about marriage as I am.
  5. He is less excited about the wedding itself, meaning I can do as I please in many aspects. :D
  6. I slept cca. 11 hours today.
  7. I am visiting my friends now in a city I love.
  8. My friend and I are painting her room and we should be done tomorrow.
  9. I will finally see my dog this sunday!! :D
  10. Holy #######, I am engaged!!!!

There, that's my list :D

#7- Skype! OMG this deserves major exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Google chat better, It is part of Gmail. It can keep a video conferance connected on an internet connection that facebook, YM and skype can not.
