ok I'm gonna hold on mailling the letter thanks for the head up that is so true!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!! but did had a drug case but never got convicted on it i end up beating the case and as far for aggravated felonies i don't have any! thank you two for the concern is greatly appreciated ! I'm cool on the lawyer thing all they want is $ and try to scare you! I'm gonna man up to this one till the end! THANKS 4 HANGING IN THERE WITH ME MUCH LUV!

Good to know about your record. It really does sound like they're more likely just following up on all those cases. I understand if you don't want to get a lawyer, but I would at least check out that immigration legal clinic in downtown LA, 20 bucks and they're helpful but practical (they were the ones that assured me I didn't need to send certified copies IN my N400, just to bring it to the interview), and they don't try to sell you on anything else. It's like those cheap/free health clinics, but for immigration help. They helped me put my mind at ease a lot. I suggest bringing all your forms and court stuff to them and to be completely honest so they can give you proper advice.

Just so we October filer are not forgotten...

I went to my oath ceremony today, but couldn't participate because they did take my request for a name change into consideration. The officers where really friendly, but it's still a bit disappointing how messed up my case is. Three to four weeks longer for me.

Good luck to everyone!

Joker, are they by chance doing a real big ceremony closer to you and making you wait for that one?

I think that is what is going on with me.

I did all my paper work fingerprints and interview through out this entire visa journey in Memphis Tn, I live in Arkansas. At 45 days we did an E-request and I was told that I was approved and just to wait for my Oath to be scheduled. I called was told they had 90 days so to call back. I am now over 120 days since interview. We got our senator involved but nothing other then them telling us to wait longer still. Then after we contacted her again she said their is an oath ceremony here in Little Rock, Arkansas July 13th. I think they are trying to get enough ppl for this Once a year ceremony (at least that is my guess). I'm just so frustrated that they can't even ask if I want to wait for this big special event or drive to Tennessee for an earlier date. I don't think it is fair to have me wait 8 months till they do one in Arkansas.

At least I hope that is what is going on.

And finally from trying and trying everyday to do an e-request done online for weeks it did let me just do right now and this is what i got Your e-Request confirmation number is: SR11371203562LOS for Form N400 and reported issue of: Beyond Posted Processing Times. That is good news! I know the waiting drives you nuts, but it's not a race. Patience and persistence.
