okay, wow... Wishful thinking I guess.... I think we are exempt from biometrics. I just received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling.

Just received the bellow email:

On November 9, 2011, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Does anyone know how long it takes since the time thy send the email until they the interview letter is sent?

Hi Mandy,

You know that depends entirely on the processing times of your local office. For example, some of us had our Bio done on the last week of October and only Zen Den had received the interview letter so far. You can take a look to the filers from your local office that filed the past months to have an idea what to expect.

I will try to get my biometrics tomorrow. Hopefully they will let me :)The original date is Nov 30. Wish me luck :)

Looks like 8 more people out of total 30 are waiting for the FB Appointment letters. That is pretty good. Most likely in the next 2 weeks rest of them should have their FP dates.

There is no trick to it. Just goto the field office listed on your NOA and ask them if they can do Bio. If they are free they would do it.

:whistle: Quick update my husband had his biometrics appt done on Wednesday and we got an email stating that his n-400 app is placed in line for interview scheduling. Is it suppose to go this fast or what? :blush::unsure:

I didn't bother to ask, just did a walk in as it says. Got there early-second in line- handed the security my letter, filled out the paper and that's was it. Think they just want to be able to scan the bar codes on the letter, don't really matter if you're early.
