I've read the site for several months and got many outstanding tips from the members regarding the ROC process. We were successful, my wife's 10-year green card was approved last week. I didn't do a timeline, but it would be something like this- Applied at California on 3-29, NOA 0n 4-8, biometric on 5-6, RFE notice received on 7-27, additional evidence sent on 9-1, order for card production on 9-29. This was a long, and frustrating step in the immigration process, for sure. But it really helped to have a place to come to, and see that many other people are in the same boat. Also, all the tips for ROC evidence were priceless. I followed the examples of others, and we were rewarded by the green card for my wife. Thanks to everyone who puts the time and effort in to share their stories here on VJ. I'll see you guys next year, when we go for the citizenship. And I promoise we'll due the timeline at that point, too!

The RFE letter was very generic, they didnt ask for anything specific. It said " Birth Certificate", meaning of any children we have, but we don't have any children and I notified them of that in the RFE cover letter." Financial Records", all of which were sent in the first package as well, and "Residence". I sent them a copy of our apartment lease, a copy of our cable tv/ internet bill in both of our names, and a copy of our Gas Co. bill, in both of our names. The lease and joint utility bills weren't included in the first package, though I did send 20 pages of other documents in the first package. The lease and utility bills must have worked, because we got approved after they received those documents.

 Congratulations again! I haven't heard from the USCIS since my bio appointment so I'm always wondering if we'll get an RFE too. Thanks for your response.
