Hmmm.. well the NVC guy told me that it was only second week of each month - I hope you are right... as usual.. will make me feel a lot better

Aug 31-2011 NVC Case # Received

Sept 2-2011 Opti Email Sent

Sept 7-2011 AOS Bill Paid

Sept 9-2011 AOS Package emailed

Oct 4-2011 Interview notice received - November 21, 2011 in Montreal!

Don't listen to the operators on that part. It's a big LIE! If you want proof, go back a few pages where a couple were scheduled interviews this last week. And I'm proof of that as well. My interview date was scheduled during the FOURTH week. Trust me, I'm right!

Er, edit: I thought this was in the September NVC thread. Go to that thread, and you'll see a few people who got their interviews this last week.

Hey guys 'n gals!

Got back up and running and got all the paperwork put in etc for the NVC IV packet and after a few days on Sept 22nd we recieved this email:

It's been about 10 days, but I can still log into this site:

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx?signout=true

Is that the place I check for the SIF? If so, I can still sign in! Is it normal it takes about 2 weeks after they send an email like this?

Just getting impatient perhaps, but everythings finally moving again and it's all I can think about! hehe

Also, anyone have any ideas when our interview will be in Montreal? I'm thinking maybe November??

I can still log in to the payment portal, eventhough i have my appoinment already( Nov.3). So i think it doesnt matter.

Our Timeline- IR-1 Visa : 204 days

USCIS Timeline: 90 days

04.08.11- Send 1-30

04.13.11- NOA1 (CSC)

04.18.11- Touched

07.12.11- NOA2 Yay!

NVC Timeline:- 37 days

08.02.11- NVC Received

08.20.11- Case No. assign/IIN 37 days from NOA2

08.23.11- receives DS 3032/AOS fee bill

08.24.11- Pay AOS Bill/ Sends the DS 3032 thru email

08.27.11- Received IV-Fee Bill

08.27.11- Pay IV-Fee Bill

08.29.11- Sends AOS via USPS

08.30.11- IV- Fee Bill shows Paid

09.08.11- Send IV packet

09.08.11- Received checklist RFE on AOS

09.12.11- RFE docs sends via usps

09.19.11- Case Completed

09.30.11- received interview date (email)

10.11.11- Medical exam.( Passed)

10.13.11- NVC Left

10.19.11- Consulate Received

11.03.11- Interview - Approved! Thank God.

11.04.11- Visa Issued

11.09.11- Visa on hand

USA

POE- Atlanta- 11.16.11

Received Welcome Letter: 11.30.11

Received Green Card: 12.09.11

Received SSN: 12.17.11

ME TOO!!!! November 21!!!! I CANNOT believe it... been in tears most of the afternoon. What a process... and now the reality of moving from everything I know - to join everything I love... Congratulations to you!!!!

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.
