Not yet...we're still working on getting his ticket. Would like an easy flight, but doesn't look like that will happen OR I'm just being impatient

Got my second interview date today it's in early December... Her last interview was last Tuesday so it took exactly one week to hear back from them via email

Nov 9th 2010 Petition received at California Service Center

May 4th 2011 Received petition Approval letter

May 12th 2011 Received Letter from NVC stating info has been forwarded to Lagos consulate office

July 14th 2011 Received Fiancé Visa packet and interview date (via email)

Sept 20th 2011 Interview day! Visa not approved.. Requesting more proof :-(

Sept 28th 2011 Second interview scheduled for early December :-)

Dec 5th 2011 Interview rescheduled consulate office caught fire :-(

Dec 6th 2011 Visa APPROVED!!!! :-D

Got my second interview date today it's in early December... Her last interview was last Tuesday so it took exactly one week to hear back from them via email

I am really happy for you, home in time for Christmas! On the other note, I am wondering why we have still not heard anything. Kind of worried.

what did you use as the subject title? also what email address did you send it to?

I sent it to LagosIV@state.gov. I received the auto response all three times. Subject line specifies 221(g), full name, then case number. I called DOS & they have no further information either. Lagos of course won't talk to me.

That's the same subject line and email I used.. Also check your bulk mail/ spam folder.. My first email was sent to my bulk/ spam folder it will be from smart core..

Also someone said if u get that automatic response email from the embassy then you know your in line to get a response.. Did u get the automatic response email??

Yes. I got it this morning! I am going to go support him again. Back to Lagos...

i was thinking about going to lagos for her interview also but i was just there the whole of august and i think my job wouldnt be so happy about me taking off again.. not sure if i should or if it will make a difference

i was thinking about going to lagos for her interview also but i was just there the whole of august and i think my job wouldnt be so happy about me taking off again.. not sure if i should or if it will make a difference

I was too, I just got back. However, because we have some red flags I feel that anything I can do I should. Plus airfrance is having a sale. I got my ticket for just $1100. I never thought that I would get sick of traveling, but I am. I came back with malaria last time, so maybe once I am totally healed I will be happy to go.

Malaria! yikes!! sorry to hear that! funny enough i have not caught malaria.. I usually go to a Nigerian Pharmacy and take these once per week pills.. They work! You should try them next time. I was on doxycycline, but I missed a dose. It wasn't a bad case though from what I hear. I think we would be okay for me not to go. I just think that if something were to go wrong, would that make a difference, so off I go again. They want to know how we can afford so many trips as I am a student. We have submit letters from our families that they have helped some with the expenses. I have yet to understand how that is relevant, but at least it isn't something more serious.
