Employment letter help.

does my joint sponsor need employment letter, if she has 3 past years of tax transcripts with the pretty consistent salary around 34,000...????

or is the employment letter only if you dont have tax returns??? i dont see it anywhere in the instructions???

I did both and my employer was happy to write one for me. I don't know if it is required, but definitely a good idea.

you dont need the employer letter, but the more evidence the better.

The more the better! The recent letter of employment OR paystubs show that employment is current.

My guess is that if you just try to use tax transcripts, there is a chance that person could have lost their job, changed to a lower paying job, etc. Paystubs / letter of employment keep things current
