good luck guys! it feels like it takes forever but it really does go by pretty quickly... I filed in february and interview is on monday... one word of advice though, check here quite often because these people have great advice...and in reading this stuff alot of questions may arise that you may not have had before... knowing the answer to anything that may happen throughout your journey is a great plus... again good luck!

I have been checking Igor's timelines and I have seen 4 other cases recently approved for K-1 visas filed in July. SO, in once sense, I think, " great, we are gtting closer" and on the other hand, I think, " man, why cant that be us?" This is a VERY emotional roller coster process.

Anyway, just thought I would share.

You are correct, this can be a very emotional experienece with highs and lows along the way. I find it's better not to dwell on it and do things to make the time pass. For example, I've been painting my house in colors my fiance and I picked out during our last trip together, and getting ready for her arrival.

Also been getting all the additional documents we'll need for the interview completed and ready so the day we receive our notification from the embassy that our papers have arrived there we can schedule her interview.

Wishing you the best of luk on yoru journey!

The way I figure.. if we do get the NOA2 this coming week as scheduled, and IF we get lucky, the interview *might* happen before Christmas. That's a lot of If's and mights, but I have hope =p

You're thinking exactly the same way I am. If the NOA-2 comes this week there is a chance for Fresy to be here by Christmas.

All of her documents required by the Embassy are completed. The I-134 is filled in. Just waiting for the NOA-2. As soon as I see that NVC has forwarded the petition to to Embassy Fressy will call San Jose and tell them she is ready for the interview. We're lucky because usually you can get an interview date within 2 weeks.

So - if ALL goes well my baby will be here with me to celebrate our first Christmas together in the USA.

Best of luck to you!

My heart goes out to February filer. WOW. It get put into perspective to see others who have had a longer journey than your own. We filed April and understand the added frustration of those that get their NOA2 before us having waited less time. But I know for everyday, for every week, for every month that goes by we are that much closer. If it wasn't for this site I would have had a nervous breakdown I think....lol. I'm not sure if this process or raising children is the tougher job now...

Chins up everyone and we will see you at the end.

Happy trails this week.

We filed July 14 and are still waiting for our NOA2 too. I know, this is a very emotional journey and I am starting to get really impatient. I miss my fiance a lot and can't wait to go home and be with him and start our life together :)

I wish everyone here good luck! My thoughts are with you all!
