She may begin working as soon as she is authorized. She needs her Employment Authorization Document (nothing stampted in her passport when entering the US on a K-1 will do) which is applied for after you are married and when you apply for AOS

Get married. File for AOS and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) wait 3-4 months. Voila!

The K-1 is NOT a work authorized visa, information to the contrary is wrong.

you arrive in the us get married within 90 days after that you need to file for adjustmen of status,1-485 application to request permanent or adjust status.the 1-765 is for work authorization you will need thi card to work. Do some reading in the Guides here on VJ to learn lots of valuable information. Included in the adjustment of status guide you will see that you apply for the employment authorization concurrently with the status adjustment. When applied for together there is no fee for the EAD.

She cannot work legally without the EAD or Green card. It will take several months from the time of initial US entry.

Your wife needs either a green card (successful adjustment of her status) or an EAD to work. She needs at least one of them to legally work. There are no exceptions.

Once you are married, she files for the AOS. She can also file for the EAD. Once she gets one of these documents, she can legally work.

You're welcome. Your wife will also need a Social Security Number to work.
