FYI: I just called today to get any update on my case and they informed me CSC is backed up and are on March 16 applications. They mentioned there is a possibility of them transferring some cases to other service center to help with the back log! No good news for us CSC filers waiting :o

02/28/2012------- DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) emailed to NVC

03/02/2012------- DS 3032 returned to beneficiery

03/02/2012------- DS 3032 resent to NVC

03/02/2012------- AOS fee bill paid

03/05/2012------- AOS fee bill shows " PAID"

03/07/2012------- DS 3032 accepted e-mail by NVC

03/08/2012------- IV fee bill invoiced

Don't worry. Even when I filed my I-130 back in March this year they said the same thing initially. You will get your I 130 approval in 3-4 months.

Here are my timelines for CR-1.

02/20/2011 - Married

03/14/2011 - I-130 sent

03/15/2011 - I-130 received

03/18/2011 - NOA1

06/16/2011 - NOA2

07/17/2011 - NVC received

08/06/2011 - Received DS-3032 and I-864 bill

08/06/2011 - Emailed DS-3032 and paid I-864 bill

08/10/2011 - I-864 sent to NVC

08/15/2011 - DS-3032 accepted and IV bill received

08/15/2011 - Paid IV bill

08/18/2011 - DS-230 sent to NVC

08/19/2011 - DS-230 received at NVC

08/24/2011 - SIF & Case Complete

08/26/2011- RFE on missing PCC and Case re-opened

08/27/2011- Wife Sent PCC from India(In fact she did get PCC on end of 27th from passport office in India and she mailed PCC following day upon getting RFE from NVC. Otherwise we thought of submitting during interview)

08/30/2011 - Case Closed(Thank God)

10/24/2011- Interview Date at Chennai @ 1PM

Backed up on March 16?

A lot of March and April filers have completed NVC process and have interviews scheduled in October/ November and hence am wondering. I know the back up at NVC started from June 16 and we had to wait for 30 days to get case numbers against the then prior waiting period of 7 days.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

March 2010-We met

3/24/10-4/3/10 Mark's first visit to the US

6/8/10-6/29/10 Mark's second visit to the US

June 2010 We got engaged!

10/6/10-10/16/10 Mark's Third trip to US and our wedding

12/23/10-1/21/10 Mark's fourth trip to US

3/18/11-3/30/11 My first trip to the UK

5/18/11-5/26/11 Mark makes his 5th trip to the US

7/26/11-8/13/11 My hubby is coming out to see me again!! 6th Trip

9/27/11-10/15/11 7th trip to the US for my husband

3/8/11 - Sent I-130 Application

3/9/11 - USCIS received application

3/11/11 - Received NOA1

3/14/11 - Check cashed

3/14/11 - Touched

7/13/11- RFE

7/19/11- RFE sent via USPS over night

7/29/11 - NOA2

8/8/11- NVC Received Case

9/7/11 - Case # and IIN # assigned

9/9/11- Paid AOS fee of $88.00

10/11/11 - NVC Received AOS package

10/14/11 - NVC approved I-864 AOS package

9/13/11 - IV bill received

10/29/11 - IV bill fee paid

12/01/11 - IV packet mailed

12/14/11 - Case complete!!

01/31/12 - Medical Exam

02/07/12 - Interview-Approved!!

03/14/12 - POE - Dallas, TX

My NOA1 was 4 Feb 2011 and my wife just finished her US Embassy interview on 9/14. She will arrive in the US on 10/1. I had all my papers routed through the CSC. You should be fine.

I think they are processing May filers already, not March. I've seen a lot of May filers getting a hold on their NOA-2.

not to get you scared,but i am a march 26 filer and still waiting for NOA2.though was hoping to get it back in June,when they started shoot the approvals out...depends on your luck here,i guess...cant explain it otherwise...

03/25/2005- got married

USCIS

03/25/2011- I-130 sent in

03/26/2011- NOA-1

09/20/2011- Service Request

09/28/2011- Service Request Reply(extensive background check,allow 6 months...blah-blah..)

10/07/2011- RFE(4 pages)

11/15/2011- RFE reply sent back to USCIS

12/05/2011- reply for RFE showed up in the system (took them 20 days to locate and input in the system...lucky us...)

01/11/2012- NOA2(urrrrraaaaa!!!!)

NVC

01/23/2012-case received(took 12 days...waiting for the case #)

01/27/2012-case # received(but wrong Embassy assigned...has to change)

02/01/2012-invoices are e-mailed to both of us by NVC

02/07/2012-invoices are paid(had to wait due to the wrong assignment of the embassy )

02/14/2012-both packgs are sent in

02/29/2012-checklist for a missing copy of passport(not missing in reality,but either wait 20 days for a review or send it in again,so we sent it in...)

03/09/2012-case complete( could have taken less ,but well..who cares it is complete now!!!)

Oh really? They are still working on March? Then how come some people got approved after 26 days from CSC? I am confused here!

It's quite puzzling as we've seen some VJ'ers approved less than 30 days and they had their NOA1 in July and August. Just makes you wonder how petitions are being processed. :innocent: Can anyone tell me what does the priority date mean for I-130 petitions (USC petitioning for their spouse)?

Processing is all over the map, can't figure it out.

Wow, this is kind of frightening to think that we may be waiting even longer than we had initially expected. Oh, well I am glad I decided to go to him for some time. That will make the time go by faster-I pray!
