Hello all, my fiance is preparing to ship me her signed documents. She has my name, address, city and zip code.

She is also asking for my home phone # (i never use it which is why she doesn't have it in her cell) and she asked for my country code. I assume she's talking about the country code for calling, which is the # 1.

I'm just a little confused....does she need to put this info on the package? It's no big deal...I guess I just never thought about how she would address packages to me...I'm always the one sending her stuff, usually not the other way around. I assume she is going to be shipping through DHL or Fed Ex.

Also, any idea how much it will cost to ship a few papers? Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks!

I think they take the phone number in case something happens to the box (or when people forget to pick packages up, they can call. Shipping in Colombia is very expensive. I would assume it's a little more pricy if she's going with DHL or FedEx. My husband shipped me a big box of goodies about a year and a half ago and it arrived through USPS (I believe). It was about 300,000 pesos. I don't know how much it would be for what you're needing though (Maybe $50 dollars?). Maybe someone else can answer you a little better =)
