Setting up a call

Hey all,

In the middle of arranging a conference call with England. They will be calling us.

The Lady isnt too sure on what she dials from a UK phone to a USA mobile number. We aint got the foggiest idea! Ventrilo ftw

Does anyone here know what needs to be dialled from the Uk to Usa?

This was the message i recieved from her...

"Just a brief query - is there a prefix we need to use before dialling your cell 'phone number from the UK. I understood it to be 0011 1 then your cell 'phone number?"

I would be grateful for any clarification you could offer

I find howtocallabroad.com really useful; it allows you to input any two countries and get the correct code.

Dialling 00 + 1 + phone number should work. So, for example, 0014085550942.
