hi VJ friends

I am so happy just got my case number emailed from NVC... I emailed my agent details and will pay AOS this week..... I am sooooooooooo happy ... wonder how long it will all take now could i be in the US for Xmas !!!!!!!!! Thank you everyone on VJ i couldnt have got this far without all your help and comments ..... woooo hoooo x x x

Congratulation! You are at about the same stage as us because I emailed the DS-3032 this evening and we also got the AOS bill today (hopefully Trevor is paying it as we speak) :innocent: . Have you booked your medical yet? I called on Friday after we got our case number on Thursday and it is booked for a week today. I am also hoping to be in the US for Christmas.

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

thank you guys...... to be honest Cathy i am in a bit of a tizz of what to do next... lol i was so organised with it all before and lost a bit of interest with all the waiting to get my case number..... i need to look again at what i do next :) Any pointers ???? lol so yeah i am posting off for my police check this week and will book my medical ASAP x x Its sooo exciting isnt it :))

You will need a copy of your police certificate before you go to your medical. You will also need to send the original to your husband because he will need to send it to NVC with the IV package -might even be worth paying the extra for an expedite. Has he got all the other documents he needs to submit with that? - original long birth certificate, divorce decree if applicable, US size passport photos?

yes he has all the originals docs with him ..... looks like it will fly in now just a case of getting appointments organised and paying rest of the fees ... where are you going in the US? this has been honestly the longest toughest year i have ever had .. and now it all seems worth every last minute i waited .....

I strongly suggest reading this guide. It is written mainly for CR-1/IR-1 applicants.

I followed this guide to the letter...and had zero problems. I hope your journey will be the same!
