To all,

I think in the next 3-6 weeks my Fiancecee's will have her interview-- I was told by the consulate, most likely some time in OCT, late last week.

I fully intend to be there for her interview but in case something happens at the last min I want to mail her a few last updated papers for her interview. What is the safest fastest i.e. around 5-7 day deliavery????

Thanks,

C&L

P.S. I am suprised she has not been scheduled yet for her interview and would have thought it would have been at the end of Sept anyway. DOES anyone have a handle on how far in advance they are schudleing interviews now and what to do if the package 4 never shows???? We waited 3 weeks form the time the consulate said they mailed the package 3 before it arrived; last week the consulate said we would get a 2-3 week notice before the interview.

Thanks again,

C&L

I've used FedEx and have been very happy with them. They were the cheapest and fastest. I sent some documents on Saturday morning, and they were in my wife's hands on Monday morning (local time). I was amazed. Stay away from UPS/USPS if possible.

it's not USPS who STOLE your $#|#, it's VNPT (Vietnam Post and Telecoms). I sent 65lbs container of Christmas present in the beginning of 10/2005. Guess when did my in-law receive the notice to pick it up? March 2006. Went there, the container mysteriously weighted 30 lbs lesser when It left the US. Go figure!

VNPT also jacked up the VAT, all used children clothes were taxed at 20% rate, B/S But whatever, I know for fact USPS has nothing to do with your package, it's the VNPT in Vietnam. Lesson: Send CASH next time, no more gift from America hahaha :) Unless you personally go to VN then bring gifts, lots of gift!

Good luck

Actuallyl that's not fair :D but it's your call. USPS did not allow me to buy the "insurance" for the package if that any helps :) But I had no choice at the time, thinking... well it's cheaper than FEDEX or UPS. Turn out, it would have been less hassle and nothing got stolen from the package if I went with FEDEX or UPS. Lesson well leearned.
