Dear Applicant/Petitioner:

Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the Vermont Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number.....(etc).

Just FedEx'd it the other day, glad to have received this notification. I know this is just a notification, but feels good to know we are in the system and being processed.

December 22, 2011 - Fly to Russia.
