I have been feeling so discouraged seeing that at the VSC they are already processing June filers. So tonight I finally decided to register online because I was tired of checking my empty mail box every day. As soon as I registered I saw that we were approved two days a go and our NOA2 was in the mail! NO RFEs!!! YAY!!!

I can't wait until my sweetie wakes up on the other side of the world and I can tell him that the first step is over!

NOA1 May 4th, 2011

NOA2 September, 6th, 2011!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you tell that they are processeing June filers? I would like to keep tabs on it because I filed in the beginning of July....

I don't know for sure that they are, but someone posted here yesterday that they saw that someone with a June date had been processed. We waited a little over 4 months for our NOA2 and it looks like our entire process is probably going to take about 7 months. Good luck!

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T
