Wow, that's quite the spread you have there! The best way to send it is so you get a tracking number.

I did ours in USPS priority mail in a flat rate envelope. I didn't get a signature confirmation. It got there just fine.

@hnewsome, could you tell me what you wrote exactly on those color tabs and how you had it organized (color coding, sections, etc)? I may want to do the same rather than the post-it notes. And you placed them on the bottom of the page?

I would also suggest mailing your packet via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope. We added signature confirmation, too. It wasn't expensive, at all.

Hello Raian!

I used tabs from Waltmart. I put them at the bottom. Pink its for me and blue its for my husband.

I separated the package in 3 piles.

First piles for the forms

2nd one its all the request legal document

3rd was bona fide!

I hope that will help you!

Good luck!

More than enough for Montreal, but PLEASE don't use tabs or or Posits or staples...USCIS scans everything you send them so they just take your package apart and reorder it the way they want, throwing away the tabs and Postits without even looking at them...ditto for staples which are even more of a pain since they have to remove them all. I know everyone wants to make it look pretty but it just doesn't help even a tiny little bit--REALLY !!!

KUDOS for the comment on not using staples. I did not realize it and I actually stapled a whole bunch of papers together: 100+ pages in all. I actually had to use a pair of pincers to get them all stapled together. Hopefully that also means they could take off the staple easily :-)

My case is now in NVC processing.

One side note: Some document sheets I originally submitted were printed on both sides. Would they notice it and make sure both sides are scanned, or could it be a problem. Any of you guys who went through the whole process with dual sided documents sumitted care to comment?
