Hello everyone. I am thinking of applying a US citizenship but the problem I have is that I lost my Philippine Passport a couple of years ago and I forgot the exact date i went back to the philippines. I only know the month and year but not the dates. So if anyone could help me where and how to obtain a copy of it is greatly appreciated. All i wanted to know is to get a copy of the dates when I went to the Philippines. Maybe one of you guys can help me out of my dilemma. Thank you. You would need to contact Philippine Consulate General San Francisco. They offer replacement of lost Philippine passport.

You do not need your passport unless they request it. USICS wants to make sure that you meet the continuous residence and physical presence rules so they ask about trip to verify that.

Did you file a claim that you lost the passport? That might help if the IO asks about it and you show him/her that you lost it and filed a claim. Other than that - the passport is not critical for your interview. A replacement passport will not provide entry/exit stamps so it will render itself useless.

thanks guys....

Another follow up question though:

- I dont remember the exact dates when I was out of the US and they asked the specific dates in the application though. So if i will just give them a time frame when I was out hopefully that wouldnt hurt my case.
