Hello everyone, I visited my fiance who I had met online and known for the last 3 years. We have been very much in love and we applied for the K-1 Fiance Visa recently so we can.

I'm 23 years old, already have a good job and everything, but had still lived at home with my parents. I used my home address on the application, but I now have moved and living in a different place. My family already know's her well and like her very much. Uh, even though everyone knows we like each other more than friends, "officially" my family still calls her my "freind". My family does not understand much about how it is to meet someone online. So of course I want to officially announce our engagement after they meet her in person.

Now I am worried what happens when my NOA1 and NOA2 arrive to my old home. Is the envelople pretty confidential and simple as "USCIS, Nebraska office, K-1 Visa" or will my mom get the mail and see "K-1 FIANCE VISA!" Oooh... I'm a little nervous if this willl blow the whistle on my plan.

Hehe.. its a little funny I guess :blush:

Anyway, can anybody who has gotten the NOA's tell me how they are?

Should come in envelope addressed to you. It will show the government logo on it but will not say on the outside of envelope what it is concerning. Good luck on your processing.

why not notify them of the address change?

Traveled to Morocco on Aug 3rd, 2005

Got Engaged on Aug 16th, 2005

Left Morocco on Aug 19th, 2005

08-29-05 Filed I129F

01-09-06 Interview Date (9am) We were not approved today, I guess we got a 221g of the damn S. Korea Police Certificate that Casablanca said we didn't need.

03/03/06 Turn in Passport at 9am

03/15/06 Visa Issued

03/31/06 Enter USA via JFK

05/15/06 Wedding for Visa

06/10/06 Mailed AOS papers

07/06/06 Biometerics Apt

07/15/06 My offical wedding day....I know .....:-)

07/10/06 Touched

08/25/06 EAD Approvel

09/01/06 EAD in Hand

09/26/06 AOS Interview (Recommend for Approval)

10-05-06 Received Welcome Letter

10-10-06 Green Card Arrived.

It doesn't 'name the visa' just shows the Immigration and customs service logo

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

I would just call then and change your address

01/03/2006 Sent Via express mail.

01/05/2006 Received and signend by P. Novak.

01/11/2006 Still waiting.... I check everyday.

01/12/2006 Check Cashed.....

01/13/2006 Noa received on 01/13/06 Friday the 13th Ooooohhhhh.

01/27/2006 Touched.

02/10/2006 Aproved NOA 2

02/13/2006 Noa 2 emailed ..... So happy

02/15/2006 Called NVC Received new case #

02/16/2006 Received NOA 2 Snail mail.

02/17/2006 Sent to the consulate

05/10/2006 Still waiting for interview sucks

05/19/2006 Going to see my honey !!!

well its federal offense to open mail not addressed to you - so i cant see them reading this-as to who it is from - its is from the Dept of Homeland Security -- so at best - they might think u are preparing to blow up a building or something... most people dont know that the INS is now homeland office..

I would call them to change you address just incase they need to get in touch with you for other things and you dont want you parents to know whats going on.
