You will probably need to get the flu shot for your AOS papers but it wont cause problems with K-1. Tetanus is every 10 years, if you are close to needing it have your dr give you it anyways because its expensive at the immigration appointment if they give you it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I was under the impression that the flu shot was only during "flu season" I didnt have one in June, nor did they give me one at the medical exam.. that said I don't know when they consider "flu season." You could call the Dr. office. Leave a voicemail and they are great about calling back. I had questions for them when we found out I was pregnant. They would be able to confirm if you are needing it yet or not.

September/October is generally the beginning of immunization for flu. During fall winter you need flu shot for AOS.

Interesting... I haven't had a flu shot in forever but I'm making my POE next week and will be doing AOS shortly afterwards. Does this mean I have to get my vaccination sheet I got from Dr. Seiden updated somehow? All my other vaccines are up to date.

pretty sure your medical stands as valid for 6 months from the date it happened. so if you were OK when you got it done and it hasn't been 6 months, you should be ok. Correct me if I'm wrong though, if anyone has heard otherwise.

K-1 medical does not require shots to get it.

AOS requires a complete medical vaccination shots included.
