Hello sept filler.2011 just wondering why it takes so long i havent not get my bio yet as i see i was already behind the list of the vsc list of sept fillers...so im asking anyone some help the exact time for me to contact USCIS and hoping u can give me the contact no. of the VSC...thanks in advance my fellow sept fillers for the help waiting for all ur replies....GOD BLESS US ALL!!!

Well, that makes two of ussad.gif. Everybody else around us that filed at VSC has already gotten their bio letters. My understanding is that you have to wait for 30 days after you NOA1 notice date before you can get any answer out of them. I might be wrong though. You can try it sooner and the worse case scenario would be for them to tell you to wait until 30 days have passed. It can't hurt to try if it's worrying you that much. Good luck.

What makes it worse for me is that we'll be moving to a new address at the end of the month but I can't inform USCIS of if just yet as we are not at the new address for another 2 weeks!! I'm just hoping my letter arrives before that. Read too many times how documents got lost after changing address. Scared...

Did my biometrics on friday, in and out in 10 minutes. I keep hoping VSC is going to speed things up, but it looks like I'm in for a long wait, let's hope it'll be for an approval not an RFE

Biometric scheduled 10/12/2011

Michigan City, Indiana

I was out of town when the letter arrived so I did not open it until today, Oct. 5

I had been thinking I would go early but no need to now !!! 1 week away.

Things seem to be moving very quickly !

Completed my Biometrics on the 3rd. Got there early and was out of there early. Completely harmless.

Im wondering how to check my case online on USCIS website. Would i type in my receipt number at the top of my NOA 1/Biometrics Letter?

Yes that is how you do it, your case number should start with WAC i believe

The case number is the one from your biometrics letter

Completed my Biometrics on the 3rd. Got there early and was out of there early. Completely harmless.

make an account on the uscis website and log on and add your case to your portfolio and check your status there. You can set up alerts but the case status is not always accurate or updated.

Well I did my biometrics today and the case number is still "not found" in the USCIS database, is anyone having the same issue?

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

09/15/2011- Biometrics appointment issued for 10/05

11/21/2011- Card production ordered.
