Hello everyone, my Fiance is finalizing the documents I need for my upcoming interview. Before he will send it to me thru DHL, just wanna make sure everything is fine. So kindly advice us if we are doing right :):)

These are the documents he intends to send ASAP:

1. Form 1-134, Affidavit of Support - original copy, signed, but handwritten in black ink

- on the income part :

- Fiance answered his annual income from his 2 jobs (he makes OVER the income

requirements, thank God)

- left blank with other spaces like life insurance, bank deposits, real state, etc)

2. IRS Tax Transcripts - 2010, 2009 and 2008 - photocopy only (will this be Ok?)

3. Pay Stups / Checks - showing current income latest 3 months only -- photocopy only

4. Fiance's updated letter address to the US consulate in Manila that he intends to marry me ASAP after arrival to the US, then he also explained in the letter our mode of communication as we talk daily through magic jack, regular emails, mobile phone using phone cards here in the Philippines...

I don't have phone bill/s to show our constant communication as I'm using pre-paid phone. We talk a lot everyday through magic jack and mobile phone using phone cards here in the Philippines as these are very economical. I have lots of used phone cards though to show..LOL !!!! My Fiance calls me most often also but we try not to talk longer if he is using his cellphone unless it is really an emergency or if we do get choppy signals from magic jack. I'm quite worried about this... will the used phone cards accepted as evidence? Lol, hopefully they would ! though I will be showing to them some of our emails.

Anyway, I would appreciate any comments or suggestions. Just wanna make sure everything is in order before we finally set our interview date.

Thanks everyone and God bless !(F)

Hi...check this link on what to send to fiance after I-129F is approved. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

By the way, when is your interview date?

1 & 2 - Not REQUIRED, but I suggest he sign the ITRs he sends you in ink. The CO who interviewed my asawa wanted to see that, but we did not have. If he still has the docs, I would do it just in case. (I-134 MUST be signed original)

3 - Don't forget the letter from employer, declaring term of employment (it is required, though we were not asked for it)

4 - Updated letter is NOT required. Do it if you want, but you sent said letter in original I-129f packet. No need to update it.

Have you read this link? http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3__rtf2_001.pdf

My fiancee brought printed emails, skype convos, etc. Even pics. and they asked for NONE of it. Like you, we have no phone bills, cuz I almost NEVER call her, and if I do, it's on a CP that is pre-paid. Like most, I am sure you will take more than is required. As long as you have EVERYTHING in the link above, you will be fine.

Good luck!

Thank you for the help link. I appreciate it so much. I still have to set for my interview as soon I got the complete interview requirements from my Fiance.

My Fiance will provide me with copies of his latest pay stubs / checks, does he still need to ask for an employment certification ?

If you are using phone cards.. Smart Hello, and Globe IDD it reflects on his phone bill when u call your fiance. register your number if its smart to smart connect so u can print it showing that that number that reflects on his phone bill is yours. same as in globe number, register it to globe website.

check your fiance's phone bill on the website like verizon if he is using verizon and print his phone bills. what i did, i highlighted all my numbers in his phone bills showing he calls me everyday.

i also printed the screen shots of magic jack showing call logs of his phone number.

hope this helps. :)

Hello girl ! thanks so much, this is truly helpful especially proving our daily communication. So I need to do a screen shots of the magic jack call logs. This is great help ! (F) And, yes I will tell him to send me his phone bills reflecting our calls (vice-versa). We talk at least twice daily and mostly at least 30 mins to 1-2 hours. :wow:

Thanks, again for sharing ! God bless (F)

Hi. Im also using MJ, you can get your call records from the website. Just click my.magicjack link on your MJ. it will take you to your account details and youll see your complete call logs (tel.#'s, time and call duration) and thats every single call you made using your magic jack. Make sure you print copies every 20th of the month though, as you could miss some of your daily phone records. MJ deletes 2-3 mos previous statement.

An unnecessary task, as phone logs are not required, but nothing wrong with taking them.

My girl was asked to show:

My passport (copy) verified against the one in the original I-129f

I-134 with ORIGINAL signature (tried to show an emailed copy, but they wanted original sig)

Letter of employment from my job

Police clearance from other countries visited (her)

My ITRs (2 years' worth)

W-2s (2 years)

Pay stub/LES (she took 6 months' worth)

Bank statements

Evidence of ongoing relationship (emails, pics, etc.)

She was asked my name, her own name

My kids names and ages

My age

When we met

Where we met

How did we meet

How long we been dating

Why did we not get married when we first met

What is my job in Afghanistan

How many marriages did each of us have

My ex wives' names

She asked about our history, dating, when I visited her family in PI

How long have I been in US since I left PI

She wanted to see picture album of us

When am I re-deploying

When is she planning to go to US

Do you promise to marry within 90 days and not run away?

Ok, your visa is approved, go wait your number...

Dave, Your scaring me. My Love's interview is in less than 24 hrs, I did not sign the ITR's, nor the 1040's, nor the employment verifications. What did the Consular say? We still have time for me to scan her color copies with blue ink... Do you think it is advisable?

Thanks, Leo

ONLY the I-134 needs to be original signature. And yes, the CO looked for it, put it in her hand, rubbed the paper, feeling for depressions. This, AFTER my asawa gave her the scanned/emailed copy. Would not take that one.

The ITRs... if you still had them to sign, I would say do it, but we did not. The CO looked for it, wanted it, but she took it without signatures. In this day of electronic filing, it's moxnix, and hopefully, USEM will catch up soon. The DS160 used by other Embassies around the world will replace the other 3 forms needed now, and it will be digitally signed, electronically transmitted.

Ahhhh, technology!!

IF she has a color printer, a blue scan might not be a bad idea, but they took mine, without signatures, just black print.
