I tried contacting them a while ago and got the same response you did...nothing.

I would appreciate any info you can give me.

Is your husband taking originals or copies of the documents to submit to VFS? Is he going to carry in the medical himself or turn it in to VFS?

We have submitted all of our original documents to NVC so he is going to be taking copies of all the documents to VFS. He is taking his medical report with him just incase if they ask him to submit it at that moment otherwise he will take it with him on the day of the interview. I told him to take everything with him and give all the documents which they will ask him to turn it in at VFS because I don't want him to waste his trip so he is gonna carry proof of relationship and pretty much everything that he will be taking for his interview.

You will need your passport to enter the Consulate for identification purposes. At least for Bombay. Take two forms of ID, especially if you plan on picking up your passport directly instead of having it couriered. The passport will be with them, and if you want to pick it up in person, plan on showing another form of ID (or a photocopy of the passport) to get into the VFS office.

You are going to turn in the actual passport to them or a copy of the passport?

You will have to submit 2 photocopy of passport at VFS.They will stick a bar-code on original passport and give you back.

We can get all 3 things done in one trip to A'bad. PCC, VFS and Medical.

I doubt that its possible because Apollo hospital gives appointment at 8 am.The medical exam takes about 5 hours (it depends on how many people are there for medical exam )and you will be asked to come again at 4pm to pick up the report. The staff at hospital is very helpful.

And For PCC the RPO accepts applications till 12.30pm.But as per my experience its better to reach there around 9 am.There are two guys in the compound of the RPO who charges 20rs to fill out form else you can fill by your own..Then u'll be asked to seat in the compound until the officer from the building comes and check every applicant's form and documents. If everything is perfect then he wll asked you to go inside the building.Pay 300 rs and you will get a receipt for the same.

Regards

One trip entails 2-3 days all together not 1 day. Did you receive the passport PCC the same day?

All pages or just the biography page?

I have made copy of biography page as well as all the pages which contained stamps on it just to be on the safe side. I wanted my husband to know exactly which dates I traveled to India before our marriage cuz that could be one of the question which they might ask him.

By the way Congratulations Dave on your case complete.
