I think it's supposed to change to invoiced, and that's when we should be able to pay it. Hopefully that happens soon.

Yea, hope so!

Can we get a confirmation from anybody that already paid their IV bill that this is a normal process? (IV will show "Not paid" initially then change to "invoiced"?

bummer... really wanted to send everything out before i went on vacation'

oh well...nvc wil not get my money until i come back

I called NVC today and i was told that computers generate those e-mails for the IV fee automatically and they have no control over it....so there is no timeline as to when those bills will be available to be paid

anyone heard of this before?

Same thing with my case guys. Mine initially showed the 404 fee.. then my ubby name dob and dollar amounts were wiped out. Then on Tuesday all that info showed back up but the box is grayed out and shows "NOT PAID"

The operator said today at the latest as it has been pending since last Friday and takes some time to be fully invoiced. BS

I received my NVC case number on 8/25/11. I have been trying to sign on to check for the AOS fee bill and continue to receive the SIF message. My wife emailed the DS-3032 agent form via email, but they said they were unable to add an agent at this time. The operator today told me that we would receive an email with instructions in 2-4 weeks. How come some of you were able to email the agent form and it was accepted?

Man NVC is pissing me off!! :bonk: This is what I wanna do to them.

Ok so I just got an email from NVC with 3 pages of attachments. But I still cannot pay the fee???? GRRRRR

1st page says

Dear Sir/Madam:

You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of XXXXXXXX. The Immigrant

Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid before petition

processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed.

Payment Instructions:

1. Do not send fee payments to the National Visa Center's Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility. This

will delay processing of the visa petition.

2. Go to www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and follow the instructions displayed.

Important Notes:

1. If you did not receive a fee bill for any applicant who should be listed on this case, do not send a fee

payment for the applicant. Instead, contact the NVC.

2. If a period of one year passes without communication to the NVC, all documents and fees expire and

must be resubmitted to resume the immigration process.

3. If the applicant intends to adjust status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS),

please contact the NVC before taking further action or making any payments.

4. Children who pass 21 years of age after the petition was originally approved by the USCIS become

ineligible to accompany or join the applicant(s) immigrating to the United States under the original

petition. In some situations, the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) may allow children to remain

eligible beyond 21 years of age. If you believe that the CSPA applies to this case, please send a

detailed explanation to the NVC. We will forward it to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for a decision.

Sincerely,

Director

I was on the phone with them as I was typing this... The operator was able to do something to fix this.. Im not sure what though. She said ok go try again... went there and BAM I was able to pay!

I have a new questions now.... So I paid the fee and right away I had the option to print the barcoded sheet. I printed it and it looks the same as the AOS barcode sheet except the verbage on it says "The enxt step in the immigration process is for each applicant to submit an Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration with supporting civil documents".

When I did the AOS fee I had to wait a few days before I could print the barcoded sheet. Since it is there and looks correct can I just send out my packet? Or is it necessary to wait for it to update as paid?

As long as you are able to print the Cover page, just mail your packet. anyhow they are taking around 5 - 7days to start processing theese packets and by that time the fee status will change to PAID. Just mail your stuff.

Thanks NavyK!

I wasn't sure if something in the barcode might change to reflect the paid status. If not I am going to send it on as soon as I get the police clearance from hubby! Should get that from him tomorrow!

Just go ahead and mail when ready with your packets. But if you want to be super cautious check if the statuses changed to PAID and then mail.
