Good Morning Everyone is there anyone who has same case with mine? I-130 and I-129F was approved same date last July 12 but at present i had my MNL# for I-129f so i am very confuse now, is that mean I-130 was abandoned by NVC? Or are we still can receive MNL# for I-130. Hope anyone can answer the question i post. Thank you very much in advance.

its normal, dont worry maybe after a week or two they will give u a case number for the I-130. that's what happened to me. but k3 is much faster. i am already scheduled for an interview for k3 while our i-130 is still with the NVC. just wait its faster nowadays :)

Please, please, please, help me to understand this process ... once minute I'm "advised"( by a VJer) "not to file" a I-129F but to do the I-130, what's the difference? Also, what is a K3 and a CR1, I'm so clueless!

For those wanting to know the difference

The K-3 used to be mega useful, not its usefulness has waned to the superior Cr-1 visa. As you can see by the comparason, the K-3 takes longer and is more expensive

For those approved on the same day, call NVC to see what is happened

OP - are you sure your MNL case number is for your I129f? I suggest calling NVC because if you were approved in July you should be moving along by now

Good luck
