When I called to book my medical (in Montreal, not Toronto) they asked me what my interview date at the consulate was. Also, at the medical, I had to show them my Packet 4. You can always call and ask, though!

I suggest asking these questions in the Canada forum since they are consulate specific and not everyone in this forum will know the answers. :)

As far as I know, in Canada, you need to have the interview letter to have the medical. What I'd suggest doing is calling the medical place and asking if it's absolutely mandatory for you to have your interview letter. That'll be your best bet at getting an answer to your question.

They will ask you for the interview letter so I don't believe you can. Even if you could it would be better to wait as you wouldn't want to run any risk at all of having your medical expire before your entry date. All this to say just wait for the interview letter :)
