Fiance Visa: DS-156 Question

My fiacee was in the U.S. on a tourist visa when we met in 2009. We started dating and throughout our time together here, she would go back to Mexico and come back to the US quite frequently. On one of her return trips to the U.S. (June 2010), she was stopped and questioned at the airport. I guess it was the frequency of the trips that raised suspicion. She explained everything and they ended up revoking her tourist visa. As she was honest and they did not believe her to be a threat, they did not apply any restrictions to the revocation (no 1 or 3 year bans). They actually released her to me for 24 hours so she could collect some things, but told me I had to bring her back to the airport and that she has to go back to Mexico. They said she could reapply for a visa right away once there. In short, my question is how serious is this?

Note that she never overstayed or was out of status or anything. I'm just wondering if when we check that box on the DS-156 that she has had a previous visa revoked, if that leads straight to denial for the K-1. We have no other concerns with approval other than this.

No, it won't be a problem. Same thing happened to me last year. I have been in and out of the US working on cruise ships on C1/D visa and visiting my fiancé and friends on B1/B2 (tourist) visa in the past 4 years, never overstayed, and when I tried to get back in October after being in the US in August, they denied me entry and revoked my visa, was sent home, didn't even let me see my fiancé even for just a minute. I was totally honest about the situation, which I believe is the best thing to do. We applied for the K-1 Visa right away, got approved, and now I'm here married to him. I even met the same officers at my POE and were joking around with them and they congratulated me for getting married. Another case similar to mine about the same time as well (Channah&Aaron) shared her experience - go to this link.

Good luck!

It won't cause her fiance visa to be denied, but lying abut it will be. Just tell the truth and explain the story.
