It was the beneficiary who was asked for this information, not the petitioner.

Bizarre, I'm confused now too... Did he send an I-134, with certified copies?

; Since you have you co-sponsor, maybe the CO was interested in your assets. The CO doesn't ask for Beneficiary's income that often, sometimes they do.

IMO: something wasn't clear to them, and now you have to provide that what they need from you in order to, hopefully, grant you the Visa.

You said you get paid in cash, maybe that is common in your country, but since you don't get salary specifications, why don't you ask your employer to set up a letter stating what you make a month and stating how long you work for your employer. Your employer should know what he paid you each and every single month (they need to keep that in the "system") and tell him to print that out.

Good luck

Hi everyone

Today was my interview , it was going fine the 2 CO were so nice ( a guy and a girl). But when I was called the third time to get the final decision, the CO gave me the blue note, in the back ,where titled ,( In order to complete your application , please provide the following :

* ( your bank statement for the last 3 months and employment letter with your salary and length of service . )

I tolled the CO that I get my salary in cash from my work, so, he asked me to,then, bring a letter from my work that explain my salary and length of service. Then he gave me my passport back, and he asked me not to send it to the embassy until he calls me.

I provided the form I-134 and a joint sponsor form I-864 affidavit of support.

They also kept my original birth certificate and my divorce decree.

I have never read or saw a k1 beneficiary here mentioning a such issue.

Most of people talk about that they do not count at all the salary or the assets of the beneficiary.

Why me ?

Any one can advice or help or explain ?

Thanks to everyone who will interfere.

Hi,

It is really very strange they ask your bank statment and salary, because it is not matter as long as your Fiance(Petitioner) will support you.Maybe there some confusing?

I would agree, they do not need your financial status. You are moving to the USA, right. You will not be working for sometime unless your company has office in the US and you are doing a transfer. I think you and the CO have a communication problem and they want your fiancee's financial information. They (CO) want to know you will not be a burden on the US until you become a legal resident/citizen.

So have your fiance supply the letter of employement, bank statment, tax forms and anything else that will help you beat the 50x the poverty line.

Good luck
