We obviously didn't go thru Manila but we also had a 221g to submit verification of household...even tho they had everything. We had interview on june 15th and sent the docs via the amex on june 20 and they arrived june 21 ...they gave them to co on june 23 to review and by July 25th the review of those docs were done.

It may not take very long but do expect a week or two at least for review.

Wishing you the best.

I was wondering how long it takes to process the K-1 Visa once interview is complete?

I attended my fiancée's interview on November 7, and was informed that a copy of our daughter's US passport (CRBA) was needed to process the K-1/K-2 visas for my fiancée and son.

Upon the request for a copy of her passport, I proceeded to the US Citizen's branch upstairs, and was told that it was processing. The initial process for our daughters CRBA was started in August and I received a request of evidence for parentage (DNA). The DNA results arrived to the Embassy in Manila on November 2 from DHL. However, the process for her passport did not start until November 8, according to the State Department. Eventually, the passport was delivered on November 23 to her home.

In turn, a copy of our daughters passport was delivered the Embassy by 2GO on Nov 25th. Since that was the only paperwork required, anybody had same case with my fiance? how many days did you guys get the visa?

We are attempting to have a marriage date of December 10th...

My husband was given a 221-g but he gave it back to them after he got the required document's. He said he didn't read it, he was in so much stress and trying to hurry to get back to the embassy before they close to return the paper's they needed that he didn't realize what he had done until he got home, he thought it was just telling him of the missing document. So what is a 221g? He was told to come back that thursday after his interview he came back and they told him they will contact him by email. I called the DOS ant they told me he is in administrative review. I was very upset and the lady told me calm down don't worry everything is ok they need nothing more and there is no red flag's. I said is he approved

for his visa I don't understand what is going on. She told me your husband is approved it's just a matter of time. My husband's interview was oct. 31 2011 and they are still telling us he is in review. So reading this post's I am wondering if the 221g told him something important maybe it explain's why he is in review. I will call the DOS tomorrow and see if they can tell me anything about the 221g.

Manila is usually fairly fast with this.......best wishes and congrats!!
