Good morning USA & Good evening Philippines .. its my first time to post a message here. I hope you guys can help me !! On a K1 application ...my fiance had enough income last year to qualify for support. He quit his job and moved to Manila now. Will the embassy use his income from last year to determine ability to support me? Should he use his USA address and try to avoid questions about his income now? Thank you :)

Last year is last year. They look at current income so this years income, what hes making right now needs to meet the guidelines. He also needs to have filed his taxes.

Using a US address wont make them avoid questions about income.

The embassy will need evidence of his current ability to support you.

He either needs to go back to the US and find a job or you guys will need a co-sponsor. Someone correct if I'm wrong, but I think the US embassy in Philippines does not accept co-sponsors for the K1.
