NVC's new trick - AOS status "IN PROCESS"

My AOS finally came up PAID after I spoke with two reps yesterday and I just mailed my AOS packet to be delivered tomorrow :) . Crossing my figers for my Case to be completed - the next step.

I think they are way under staffed, we filed for AOS in March and received then, they did not record until 1 month later, got EAD in less then a month after Biometrics, now tuck in initial review.

Slow across the board. Just wait, i guess they are doing the best they can.

I looked at your timeline and you are not dealing with the NVC now. While staffing very much could be an issue with the NVC, NVC staffing levels one way or the other are not relevant to the Adjustment of Status process. Hopefully you and everyone else here will not have to wait much longer.

IV FEE is "IN PROCESS" - hubby just paid today.

Any idea how long will it take for the IV FEE to be in status "PAID"? :star:

check now :) I paid my IV fee Monday and it just flipped to PAID at 2pm today (Tuesday)

I am waiting on my IV Fee Bill and once it is paid.. what type of info / contents is written on the “Cover Sheet” My guess is to submit Original/Certified documents… Could anyone please share this information? Thanks.

The cover sheet does have any instructions - nothing really much, just the bar code, mailing address - the IV email has the instructions link from NVC, which we are all already aware of.

In fact NVC allowed me to use my IV Cover sheet to send my I-864 packet also, due to some issue with the online payment status (didn't change to PAID for a week).
