I got the coversheet idea b/c an operator actually told majusgirl to do that when the portal wouldn't let her print the coversheet. She was told to print the AOS coversheet twice and just cross out the "AOS" on the "attn:CMR" line for the one heading off with the IV.

On the otherhand... I think I need to call and do another Jedi mind trick and get the phone rep to talk to I.T. dept. Someone has forgotten to initiate a script.

And Dave... MAN! We are ALL rooting for you! Seriously! You are so helpful to so many people here. We ALL want you to get that case number. (F)

You are right but those are specific cases and hence I would wait and push NVC to get the AOS fee status changed esle this may catch in completing the case later - who knows!!!!!!

I try my best on here to give straight answers. I spent a lot of time in India scouring the immigration sites on the downtime I had there to learn the process.to the T.

I called the AVR today and still no record of the case number. I will call in the next couple hours. NVC is pretty busy around this time and even more so since it's Monday.

In terms of the using the double barcode cover sheet method...it does not sit well with me. Usually I would go with it, but some of these documents that I had to get took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get. I would rather take the couple days wait to get the actual receipt and deliver the documents safely then take the other route of getting an RFE and having it all sent back from the "safe" hands of NVC.

Exactly. You don't want to leave even the smallest amount of light on the processing so they can open it up and cause a whole can of worms to emerge!
