My husband does not have W2, but he submit an explanation letter instead. I'm so worried if this might affect my IV interview. Any comments pls...

Depends on his explanation. There's plenty of acceptable reasons to not have w-2s.

Since your case was complete at the nvc months ago, I would be confident (for now) that his explanation was satisfactory or he would have been RFE'd before the case was completed.

You are probably ok. My case is different, but my original W2's were requested by the CO when my hubby went for the interview.
