What to tell the Cdn BGs when my daughter goes back to visit for a few months?

I'm hoping Neiks or someone else with the same situation can provide some guidance here.

My 19½ yr old daughter is likely going back to visit my parents for 2-3 months starting in Sept until possibly Christmas.

She'll be driving back with my brother (her uncle) after his visit in Sept. Does she need to tell the Cdn BG anything special? I assume she should indicate she 'may' be staying until Christmas - it's somewhat open-ended depending on how my parents are doing (she is helping my dad, giving him a break and keeping Grandma company - my mum has early Altzheimers).

She's a Cdn citizen with a Cdn passport and a US GC.....anyone foresee anything complicated here?

My kids went back last summer for almost 2 months to visit with their father. We told the border official they were there for the summer, had no issues going into Canada or bringing them home.

I don't think she'll have any issues. I started visting my now husband when I was 19 years old and travelled alone, so it'll be fine in that perspective.

3-4 months shouldn't be a big deal either since that doesn't really affect her US residency!

Nothing to worry about, I say!

Should be no problems at all. She's over 18 and is an adult and doesn't need permission to travel from parents plus she is a Canadian citizen so she has ever right to come into Canada and stay as long as she wants.
